Certifications & Lab Evidence: What We Can Show You

This page gathers everything verifiable about Tong Xin Yuan in one place — product test reports, third-party assays, brand awards and company registration. Under each one we state what it proves and, just as importantly, what it does not prove. That is more useful to you than a vague claim of "multiple certifications".

To be clear up front: the testing and certification below establishes compound content, particle size and brand standing. It is not evidence of medical effect. Porcupine dates are a traditional edible product, not a medicine, and do not replace medical treatment. If you are under treatment, speak to your doctor first.

1. Nano particle size report (downloadable)

Tong Xin Yuan nano-extracted porcupine date powder was submitted to an independent laboratory for particle size analysis by Dynamic Light Scattering under ISO 22412:2017, tested in April 2026.

What it proves: the particles genuinely reach nano scale, within the 1–150 nm range.
What it does not prove: absorption rate, absorption speed, or any health outcome. This report measured size, not what happens in the body. The report also states the sample was supplied for results only with no compliance limits — it is a measurement report, not a pass/fail certification.

What that size means, and how it compares with traditional milling: Nano extraction vs traditional grinding.

2. Compound assays (SGS / AMCEN)

The active constituents were assayed by third-party laboratories using BP and AOAC standard methods. These are the figures we can currently publish:

CompoundMeasuredSource
Tannins38,357 ppmAmCen Lab (HPLC, 2022)
Stigmasterol*281.6 mg/kgBio Synergy (BP 2013, 2025, Grade A)
Campesterol*90.6 mg/kgBio Synergy (BP 2013, 2025, Grade A)
β-Sitosterol*46.2 mg/kgBio Synergy (BP 2013, 2025, Grade A)
Bromelain*324.6 GDU/gBio Synergy (gelatin digestion unit method, 2025, Grade B)
Two things to note when reading this table:
1. Items marked * are flagged "Not Accredited" on the certificate — the laboratory performed the test, but that parameter sits outside its accreditation scope.
2. The figures come from different submitted samples: the sterols are Grade A, the bromelain is Grade B, and the tannin figure is from a separate 2022 sample. They should not be read as one product's specification sheet.

Measured amino acid profile (AmCen Lab, 2022)

Certificate AMC/nF2207/042. Sample: porcupine dates / bezoars. Fifteen amino acids measured by HPLC, in ppm:

Read this alongside Active compounds research. That page covers what the literature investigates about these compounds; this table shows how much is actually in the sample. Neither substitutes for the other — a high concentration is not an effect.
What it proves: the sample does contain these compounds, at the measured concentrations.
What it does not prove: what those concentrations do inside a person. Compound content and clinical effect are two different questions. For the published research on each compound, see Active compounds research.
About the submitting party: some SGS reports name Centric One Sdn Bhd as the applicant — an associated company of the retail entity, Xin Juan Enterprise Sdn Bhd. The sample tested was porcupine bezoar (Hystrix brachyura). If you see a different company name on a report, that is why; ask us if you would like it explained.

3. Heavy metals & microbiology (SGS Malaysia)

Porcupine bezoar was tested by SGS (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for heavy metals and microbiological contamination. Report AFLSA/200535776-AF09868, dated 4 May 2020. Sample: porcupine dates / bezoars from Hystrix brachyura.

TestMethodResult

What it proves: in the sample tested, four heavy metals and three microbiological indicators were all not detected. This is the most direct document on the page about whether the product is safe.
What it does not prove: efficacy, and it does not speak for other batches. Results are valid only for the sample tested.

4. Pesticide screening (USM National Poison Centre)

Porcupine bezoar was submitted to the Toxicology Laboratory of the National Poison Centre of Malaysia, Universiti Sains Malaysia, for pesticide residue screening by GC-MS. The most recent report is PRN2025/80, dated 7 May 2025, on Premium Porcupine Date Extract (batch TJE00001). An earlier report (PRN2023/145) also exists.

What it proves: all 45 pesticide residues were not detected in the sample submitted.
What it does not prove: efficacy. Note also the laboratory's own terms: results are valid only for the sample tested, and the laboratory gives no guarantee as to the safety or quality of the product.

The original can also be viewed in person by appointment.

5. Dr. Lau Hea Sim's professional report

What this document is: a written professional statement by Dr. Lau Hea Sim (IMMC No. 14889) on the general role of amino acids. It is not a laboratory test result and not a clinical trial. One practitioner's opinion is not the same as evidence of effect in people. Whether any of it applies to your situation is a question for your own doctor.

6. Wildlife dealer licence (PERHILITAN)

Porcupines are protected under the Wildlife Conservation Act 2010 (Act 716), so dealing in bezoar legally requires a licence. Tong Xin Yuan holds a dealer licence (Lesen Peniaga) issued by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (PERHILITAN), Malaysia.

ValidityRenewed annually
Why this one matters most: it is the only document that speaks to lawful sourcing. A compound assay tells you what is in a sample; a licence tells you the stock came through a legitimate channel. Porcupines are protected, so trade without a licence is unlawful in itself — buy from a seller who cannot account for their source and that risk is yours.

The licence is renewed annually. Ask us if you would like to see the current period.

About the blacked-out fields: the licence prints the holder's identity-card number, home address and personal mobile. Those are personal data and say nothing about whether the sourcing is lawful, so they are redacted before publication. The licence number, company details and validity period are left intact and verifiable.

7. Anti-counterfeit traceability label

Every Tong Xin Yuan box carries a holographic security label with a unique serial number, a QR code and a scratch-off verification PIN. Scan the code, enter the PIN, and you can confirm the box was shipped by Tong Xin Yuan.

What it proves: that this particular box came from Tong Xin Yuan. It is the one item on this page you can verify yourself, on the spot — you do not have to take our word for it, just scan.
If your box has no label, or the PIN is already scratched off: do not take the product, and contact us.

8. Brand awards

  • Asia Top Excellence Health Product 2024–2026
  • Asia Pacific Super Health Brand 2024–2026
  • INCSEA Shining Business Award 2025
  • World Excellence Entrepreneur Brand Icon Awards

Award certificates (5 pages): download PDF.

What it proves: standing and recognition in the trade.
What it does not prove: that the product works. Awards are commercial programmes, not medical evidence — they are listed here because they belong in "documentation we can show you", not because they say anything about efficacy.

Frequently asked questions

What test reports does Tong Xin Yuan have?
Six, all viewable on this page: particle size (Dynamic Light Scattering under ISO 22412:2017, measured 122.73 nm); compound assays (AmCen: tannins 38,357 ppm and a 15-point amino acid profile; SGS Taipei: amino acids; Bio Synergy: sterols and bromelain); heavy metals and microbiology (SGS Malaysia, all seven not detected or absent); pesticide screening (USM National Poison Centre, 45 residues all not detected); Dr. Lau Hea Sim's professional report; and the PERHILITAN wildlife dealer licence.
Do these certifications prove porcupine dates work?
No. They establish compound content, particle size and brand standing — not medical effect. No clinical trial has shown that porcupine dates treat any disease. They are a traditional edible product, not a medicine, and do not replace medical treatment.
Is the nano report a certification or just data?
It is a measurement report, not a pass/fail certification. The report states the sample was supplied for results only with no compliance limits, meaning the laboratory measured and reported the values without assessing them against a standard.
What do the cytology reports actually show?
Responses observed at the cell level in a dish. That is early-stage work; it is a long way from a human clinical trial, and an effect in people cannot be inferred from it.
Can I get copies of the reports?
Yes. The particle size report can be downloaded from this page as a PDF; for the other assays and test documents, message us on WhatsApp. Asking for documentation before you buy does not change your quote.

Which document would you like to see?

Tell us what you want to verify and we will send the matching report. Asking before you buy is completely normal.
